Central Government Debt of Includes External debt valued current exchange rates as on 31st March of the respective financial year. State & UT Governments Debt of UTs with Legislature. General Government debt/liabilities of General Govt. debt excludes inter-governmental liabilities such as loans and advances from Centre to States/UTs, NSSF investment in State Govts. securities etc., to avoid double counting. Note - For States/UT Government 2021-22 & 2022-23 figures are RE & BE of the year (source is RBI (State Finances - Study of Budget).
