Industries

The Annual Survey of Industries (ASI) is the principal source of Industrial Statistics in India. The data includes evaluation of the Principal characteristics of factories, employees, capital, net and gross value, benefits and funds etc over a period of time on annual basis.
The data refers to information regarding Budgetary Support, Internal and Extra Budgetary Resources (IEBR) and Outlay to different Ministries/Departments concerned to Industries for 12th Five-Year Plan (2012-17).
The data refers to information on contribution to manufacturing GDP in 11th Five-Year Plan and employment in 2009-10 in different segments of manufacturing sector. It projects employment in 2016-17 and 2024-25 in different segments of manufacturing in two different scenarios. Contribution to Manufacturing GDP is as per GDP Data series provided by CSO-2009-10. Employment for 2009-10 does not include employment of 0.20 million for recycling and medical, precision and optical instruments, watches and clocks.
The data refers to break-up of working enterprises and employment in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for Manufacturing sector (in percentage terms). The Fourth All India Census of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises 2006-2007 is the primary source of data on MSMEs. Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises provides periodically revised information of MSMEs.
The data refers to information about the Gross Capital Formation (GCF) in different segments of Industry mining, manufacturing and construction from 2004-05 to 2010-11 for the 12th Five-Year Plan (2012-17). The data has been sourced from the Economic Survey 201112.
The data refers to growth rate of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at Factor Cost (at 2004-05 prices) for different sectors of the economy from 2007-08 to 2011-12 for 12th Five-Year Plan (2012-17). The data has been sourced from Central Statistical Organisation (CSO).
The data describes about the details to the time series principal characteristics for all industries at annual frequency.
The table presents estimated number of unincorporated non-agricultural enterprises in different States and UTs. The percentage share indicated in column 11 has been calculated for all enterprises in the combined sector and all other columns has been ranked accordingly on the basis of descending order.

The table presents estimated number of unincorporated non-agricultural other service enterprises in different States and UTs. The percentage share indicated in column 11 has been calculated and sorted based on descending order for all other services enterprises in the combined sector.
