The aggregate of all debts an individual or company is liable for. The Data contains Actual, Pre-actual and Budgeted Expenditure for Salary expenditure, total expenditure, Revenue Expenditure, Salary expenditure as percentage of revenue expenditure (net of IP & Pension) and Salary expenditure as percentage of total expenditure of states & Uts.
Revenue deficit occurs when the actual amount of revenue received and/or the actual amount of expenditures do not correspond with predicted revenue and expenditure figures. Revenue surplus, which occurs when the actual amount exceeds the projected amount. The Data contains Actual, Pre-actual and Budgeted Expenditure for Revenue deficit/surplus,GSDP and Revenue deficit/surplus as percentage of GSDP of states & Uts.
Public expenditure means the expenses or expenditure made by the Government for the betterment of the public. Public expenditure can promote growth by financing essential public services, such as security, infrastructure and education. The Data contains Actual, Pre-actual and Budgeted Expenditure for Total expenditure, GSDP and Public expenditure ratio (total expenditure/ GSDP) of states & Uts.
