Greetings from the OGD Team!

Open Government Data Portal is leading it’s way ahead with participation in various National and International conferrences to increase awareness of Open Data potential in Governance and Innovation.

A session on Participatory Governance & Innovation through Open Data held at 16th IFIP Conference, IIT Delhi on 21st November 2017. Session was very engaging where dignitaries pitched in prospects of Open Government Data in various verticals. Following are some leading points:

DG NIC & CEO MyGov India moderated the session shared her views on Digital participatory governance, potential models of open data, democracy, transparency and public-sector reforms.

23 – 24 Nov 2017: Open Government Data Platform showcased in NIC stall at 5th Global Conference on Cyberspace (GCCS) 2017 which was held in New Delhi, India.

Phase - I of the #OpenGovDataHack is over in 7 cities and Online. This Hackathon is organized by National Informatics Centre (NIC), in association with Internet And Mobile Association of India (IAMAI).

National Challenge

The selected Apps prototypes from Phase-I will be taken forward for App development. Each team will be given 2 months of mentorship/incubation to develop the App under guidance from industry. Teams will submit the final Apps for evaluation.
