Girls per hundred boys is the number of girls per hundred boys in different classes like Classes I-V, Classes VI-VIII, Classes I-VIII, Classes IX-X, Classes XI-XII, Classes IX-XII of all categories student.

Pupil-Teacher Ratio (PTR): Average number of pupils (students) per teacher at a specific level of education in a given school-year. Calculation method: Divide the total number of pupils enrolled at the specific level of education by the number of teachers teaching pre-dominantly at that level.
Gender parity index (GPI) is ratio of the female-to-male values of a given indicator. A GPI of 1 indicates parity between sexes.

ISCED covers all organized and sustained learning opportunities for children, youth and adults including those with special needs education, irrespective of the institution or entity providing them or the form in which they are delivered.
