The data refers to details regarding the financial assistance sanctioned and disbursed by all India Financial Institutions such as Industrial Finance Corporation of India Ltd, Industrial Development Bank of India, Life Insurance Corporation of India, etc.
The data refers to State-wise resource centres at block level sanctioned under capacity building component of Backward Regions Grant Fund (RGSY) and Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Yojana (RGSY).
The requirement is based on norm of four specialists (namely Surgeon, Obstetrician & Gynecologist, Physicians and Pediatrician) per each Community Health Centre supported by paramedical and other staff. Sanctioned and In-Position figures are as reported by the States/UTs. All India figures for Vacancy (Sanctioned In-position) and Shortfall (Requirement In-position) are the totals of State-wise Vacancy and Shortfall ignoring surplus in some States/UTs.
As per minimum requirement, a Primary Health Centres (PHCs) is to be manned by a Medical Officer supported by 14 paramedical and other staff. The data refers to Allopathic Doctors at PHCs. The requirement is based on norm of one per each existing PHC. Sanctioned and In-Position figures are as reported by the States/UTs. All India figures for Vacancy (Sanctioned In-position) and Shortfall (Requirement In-position) are the totals of State-wise Vacancy and Shortfall ignoring surplus in some States / UTs.
