What: Delhi University and National informatics Centre (NIC) invite you to share your ‘New Idea’ to address the real world problems with open data fuelled innovations.

Who: Participation is open for all! You don't have to necessarily be a technical expert or have specific skills other than creative imagination and passion for innovations.

What: While the 12th Five Year Plan endeavors to change India, we invite you to help us change the way we see the vision for the nation. Hack the Plan over a 2-day period, create out-of-this-world visualizations of the future, tell the next big story in a myriad ways and build apps to fuel the change.

Who: Anyone can. We have no restrictions of age or professions when it comes to participants. So bring your team of innovators, oil the gears and let’s get started. Make sure though that your team has no more than 4 of the best you know, including you.

Here, you can share mash-ups created with government datasets, documents, services, tools and applications. Programmers and developers are welcome to review the datasets and create applications or programmes to add value to the data. You can participate in research and development of innovative technologies/apps to drive easy sharing and usage of data. Join the community to stay updated on the latest web and mobile based applications.
Connect, interact and share your views with like-minded people. You are welcome to share health related mash-ups created with government datasets, documents, services, tools and applications. Participate in discussion and development of applications with available datasets to make it easier for individuals to access information online. Join the community to explore and review datasets related to health sector.
Agriculture provides the principal means of livelihood for the major Indian population. It also contributes a significant figure to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Discuss innovative technologies/applications to drive easy sharing and usage of government data. You are welcome to create applications related to agriculture sector. Join the community to explore data and collaborate with like-minded people.
